Where are We?

Lochfitty Cottage is one of the few remaining dwellings in the old mining village of Lassodie. Situated on a roadside setting in open countryside, just 4 miles north east of Dunfermline, we are on the B912 road near the village of Kingseat.

How to Get to Us


By SatNav  Use postcode  KY12 0SP Then look for the White house with B & B sign.

From the North.
Leave the M90 at Junction 4 (Kelty), turn left towards Kelty to X roads and mini roundabout.  Turn right at roundabout into Oakfield Street and drive south out of Kelty to next mini roundabout (1/2 Mile) and take the right (B912).    Carry on until you go over the M90 and continue for a further 400yds, Lochfitty Cottage is the large white house on the right, just by the War Memorial on the roadside.

From Dunfermline.
Drive through Dunfermline and take the A907 past the football ground towards the M90. At the traffic lights take a left turn (B912) and drive past Queen Margaret Hospital to the ‘T’ Junction at the top of the hill, turn right and drive into Kingseat Village. Continue through the village and approx 1/2 mile down hill is Lochfitty Cottage, the large white house on the left by the roadside.

From the Forth Road Bridge/South.
Leave the M90 at Junction 3 and turn 2nd left towards Dunfermline (A907) after 300yds turn right at 1st roundabout signposted to Kingseat.  Continue uphill over level crossing to ‘T’ Junction at Kingseat, turn right into Kingseat Village (B912). Drive through the village and about 1/2 mile down hill past Loch Fitty (on left) and Lochfitty Cottage, is the large white house on the left.
